The Garden
Most of the summer in Provence (that is, most of the year) life is led outdoors. To this end the terrace at the back of the house measures nearly 50 square metres and includes a table for six to eight people, plus a plancha and paelleria.
The terrace is shaded by a large tree with a swing. There is a herb garden, a lavender and rosemary bed and an automatically-watered vegetable plot where potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, aubergines and courgettes are often available.
The extensive lawn leads to a concreted area boasting a mural, a shed and another spot to sit out in the sunshine.
The garden is planted with clematis, irises, wisteria, oleanders and roses, with young lemon, fig and olive trees, plus three towering cypresses.
