Information
The house is in Chemin de la Fontaine, in Barbentane, approximately 10 km from Avignon. The TGV train station is 15 minutes drive away. There are airports nearby in Nimes and Marseille.
By Car
Just a 15 minute drive from Avignon, the house is easily accessible by car. To head northwards, the A9 is 30 minutes away. Heading west, join the motorway at Nimes (40 minutes away) or take a dramatic drive across the Millau viaduct and on through the Cevennes.
By Train
There are TGVs (high speed trains) from Paris to Avignon, or slower trains from Bordeaux to Avignon or Tarascon, usually with a change in Montpellier or in Nimes. .By Plane
There is an airport in Nimes, served by Ryanair. Many more airlines fly to Marseille airport which is actually at Marignane, a little more than an hour by car, or less by train, from Avignon.
By Bike
There are plenty of great places to cycle around Provence. However, nothing beats the cycle ride from Bordeaux via the Canal du Midi and across the Camargue (although beware of mosquitoes). Allow a week.
